"First and hopefully last time we visit this hospital. We cannot fault the care and treatment my partner had when we came to the ED last Saturday. Both nurses were kind,caring and professional, they kept in constant contact with the doctor in Kingaroy before my partner was transferred there. If there was a negative,it was the wait time for the ambulance transfer.....we feel for the paramedics, absolutely understaffed and over worked. However they were also very caring, kind,friendly and professional. Highly recommend, we are a couple travelling so to get this amazing treatment was excellent"
"My mum was a patient here. She went to emergency, spent one night and was sent home the next day. IN TEARS FROM HER TREATMENT BY THE NURSE. she passed away 2 days later. 5 days before she was planting friut trees in her orchard wirh not a thing wrong with her. My mum was a career nurse. She was horrified at the unprofessional treatment by the nurse. Country hospitals are supposed to be friendly and compassionate to their community. This hospital made her last 2 days of life hell. Not only was she miss diagnosed and told she had the flue and sent home to die. She was so upset from her treatment and how she was spoken to by the nurse, she was sent to die upset and miserable, because she spent her life as a caring, compassionate nurse. She didn't understand how someone could be put in this position and get away with treating people the way she did. All I can say about this hospital is my mum was fit and healthy one day, the next got sick and went in their, sent home and dead 2 days later. If you have the option go to kingaroy. If you don't GOOD LUCK."
