Our one-bedroom self-contained eco studio is architect-designed and showcases contemporary furniture crafted in Tasmania. With an outside bath, organic linen, and a great vinyl selection to play on the record player, every detail has been carefully considered to provide a peaceful and natural environment for our guests. Located just 20 minutes from Launceston and 5 minutes from Lilydale, The Container offers convenience without compromising on tranquility.

At The Container, we embrace the principles of recycling and repurposing with creativity and style. Our accommodations are housed in a renovated shipping container, featuring local eclectic materials and luxurious amenities. The king-size bed is adorned with organic linen sheets, and the full kitchen facilities provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy fine Tasmanian wines, TV, iPod, movies, record player, art supplies, books, games, and even musical instruments in your private getaway.

One of the highlights of your stay will be the joy of bathing under the stars with Aesop natural products at your disposal. The price reflects this difference, but you'll still enjoy fabulous sunsets and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
