Most of our centers open at 7am and operate until the start of the school day. In the afternoons, we are available from the end of school until 6pm. Our centers are staffed by qualified and experienced professionals who receive regular industry training, ensuring your children are in capable hands.

We understand the financial aspect of childcare, which is why all eligible families will receive the Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS). We want to ensure that no child misses out on the opportunity to benefit from our programs.

If your children are attending a school-based center and wish to participate in out-of-hours activities held on school grounds, our staff will gladly escort them and ensure their safe return to the YMCA center afterward. Our dedicated staff members love spending time with your children and actively engage in their lives. They are always willing to walk new or shy children to their classrooms and even attend school assemblies to witness children receiving merit awards. Additionally, they actively participate in the community by offering their assistance at school sports carnivals.

At YMCA, the safety of children is our top priority. We undergo independent reviews by the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) to ensure our services are safe for all children and young people. We have strong Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy and Procedures in place to uphold our commitment to child protection.

Most of our before and after school centers are conveniently located at primary schools, while some operate off-site. We ensure that children are carefully transported to and from these sites before and after the school day, providing a reliable and convenient service for families.
