"I have to give Dr Adele the highest praise, she is just wonderful and our cat loved her. We took our 23 year old cat to Dr Adele in February. He was not well, we suspected a bladder infection, he was after all very old. Tontie was no one's fool and could tell a good person from a bad person in an instant and he thought Dr Adele was top notch! He really enjoyed meeting her and the vet assistant and behaved very well while having his blood pressure taken. It was a successful visit and the antibiotics worked as well as they could with such an old boy. This gave us another ten weeks with our beloved boy. Sadly on ANZAC Day, it was obvious it was time for him to leave us. We made an appointment for Thursday in the afternoon. To have such a wonderful companion for so long, the pain of having to say goodbye was devastating. Dr Adele was so kind and gentle with not just Tontie but also with us. She gave him some pain relief first as he would need the other injection straight into his heart. We waited with him for the pain medication to take effect and Dr Adele left us alone with him, so we could pat him and talk to him. After twenty minutes she asked if we were ready for his final injection and we said yes. He peacefully slipped away, surrounded by people who cared for him, including Dr Adele. When she took his remains away, she did it in such a respectful manner and even gave him a kiss on the head, his favourite thing. She made one of the most painful events of our family's life as good as it could have been. Thank you so much Adele, we are so glad we found you"
"The vet sold me the wrong preventative medication for our dog. It did not cover heartworm. She knew we were going to Queensland therefore knew we would require heartworm preventative. On returning to Tasmania I approached her and the response was very rude. She said that she didn't care as the dog was no longer her patient. Unprofessional and uncaring. Not someone you would want to be looking after your pet."
"i rang and spoke to Rebecca needing help some work on your personal skills, people ring you in stressful times and compassion is required, I didn't get that, I got a very straight forward no. Thank you I found a clinic that had a better response to my dilemma."
"BEWARE Yesterday I needed a vet urgently as Tamar valley Veterinary Clink was fully booked I had an appointment for today at 10:30 I did see an alternate vet yesterday, sadly my pet passed away. I called this morning to cancel the appointment, as I knew they were busy. I spoke with Amy who seemed very sweet. About half an hour later I got a call from Tamar Valley Vet-, I assumed it was the owner. For two or three minutes the caller abused me telling me not speak to her staff in the manner I did. I was not allowed one word in during the entire call after which she slammed the phone down in my ear. Horrified I called back only to have my call disconnected. Using my husband’s phone, I called and got Amy on the line. I asked Amy what I had said or done as today I am still recovering from my pet’s loss. Amy advised it must have been a misunderstanding on their side as I did not offend or upset her in anyway. I asked Amy to please get the owner to call me back as I was extremely stressed from the abusive call made by the owner. I ask … What sort of veterinary person would act in this manner during a person’s time of grief? BEWARE of these types of businesses and people who abuse you in your time of grief without reason. Maureen"
"A great vetinary practice. I find Adele and her team to be so helpful and kind. We have had quite a few dealings with them over the last 2 years with our 3 dogs Jack Toby and Molly. Some have been sad others routine and recently one had an operation. In all the dogs were treated well and with kindness and skill. No hesitation in recommending them."
