"Deceitful, dishonest and untrustworthy would be a few words that I would use to describe this company and it’s owner Adam Beechy. We purchased an ex taxi from Adam (Ability Taxis) that he owned… The vehicle be brought was sold to us in “good working order” and “well looked after” as per the emails and text messages, which was far from the truth. After having to replace the clutch, flywheel and master clutch cylinder as well as fix a multiatuide or issues with the brakes (being installed incorrectly) undersized front rotors and leaking axel seals to name a few issues (to the sum of over $7,500 which all failed roadworthy in Victoria but Mr Beachy’s company passed the vehicle roadworthy in Tasmania! All the issues that where Identified as failures for the roadworthy where palmed off as “non safety related issues” by the owner Adam Beechy when we questioned them and showed them the reports from BSI Port Melbourne. On the invoice to finance company he put “AS IS” knowing we where not going to see this invoice until after the loan had settled and he had his money! Asked him to pay for the repairs and was met with no response what so ever. Called multiple times and was ghosted. Do not trust them with your vehicle. Adam, I’ll revise / remove this review when you pay for the repairs we had to undertake which we shouldn’t have had to. Had you been honest and said it needed a gear box or clutch (which as a mechanic you would have had to have known) then we would have had you fix it prior to us purchasing it!"
