"My wife and I popped into the Barrel Collective when we recently visited Launceston. We were both extremely surprised and happy with how helpful and genuinely friendly the owner was. He went out of his way to give us the absolute best experience possible. Sharing stories, providing knowledge and tasting on gjns, and just being an absolute legend. The drinks and atmosphere were nothing short of amazing. This place should be on your stop list if you visit Launceston. Honestly, places like this and people like the owner need to be recognised more. Support this place people!"
"Go to place for a few drinks in Launceston! As I went on Wednesday and Thursday night it was quiet buy that didn't bother me the slightest. It's a bit pricey but it's an all Tasmanian products bar and you're paying for quality. Great staff and noticed repeat customers on both nights."
"Fantastic little gin and whisky bar! Perfectly balanced cocktails, a huge range of local Tasmanian Gin and Whisky as well as a few beers and the odd specialty drink. Great atmosphere, cosy and friendly. Nice lighting and comfortable seating. Barman was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Highly recommend!"
"Absolutely loved this place. The owner had a wealth of knowledge about local find. Fabulous selection of Tasi gin on hand. We went several times over two days and there were plenty of friendly locals willing to chat and make you feel welcome."
"Highlight of my drinking trip in Launceston. Best of the best in terms of tasmania spirits. The four taps they had were also top notch stuff. All the staff over two nights were super knowledgeable and friendly. Happy hour is worth the trip during the hours. All in all, highly recommend!"
