Reviews
"I don’t often bother to review, but we were really disappointed in the cabin we stayed in at this park. It was extremely overpriced at close to $200 night and It was nothing like the pictures. I think the owners could be a little more transparent with the description and or photos online. If you value basic hygiene and cleanliness, avoid the older cabins at this park."
"Well located near shopping centre, fuel etc. Easy access off Bruce Hwy and not too far from centre of Townsville. Nice grassed sites, some with concrete slabs, some all grass. Check in staff very pleasant and amenities very good. Generally quiet, but traffic noise does start to build on the highway early morning. We would stay again if travelling through."
"Caravan stay Nice park Some sites with concrete slabs Some sites small to average other sites large with plenty space. Grounds clean and mostly well maintained. Amenities 2 blocks, very clean And pretty central to all sites. Walkways between sites to ablutions so not annoying other guests. Pet friendly. Plenty birdlife. Swimming pool good condition. It would be a Good idea to include recycling bins near rubbish bins only a thought. TV reception and phone reception good. TV room/lounge next to office For first time visitors would have been good to include street map to get around. About 4-6 kilometres from Cowboy stadium and City"
"Really well run. The managers are friendly and efficient. Facilities are well kept and clean. The location is exactly as described on their website. It’s an easy trip to all of Townsville experiences. I personally would prefer to be closer to the heart of the city so I can walk to nightlife. I knew that wasn’t what I was booking so cannot fault the location."
"Rooms clean enough but very old. Mould growing outside of shower basin and shower head held on with gaffer tape. Couch was an absolute joke. Had to put my camp chair in there to sit comfortably. All seating in that particular unit was very uncomfortable and old. As for the price $180 a night is a ridiculous charge for this type of quality. Not happy and won’t be back"
