"Good: Lovely design Comfy bed Nescafé coffee pods Nice pool area and bar Cool lobby area Bad: Noisy room overlooking street Slight smell of mould in the room Couldn’t get take away coffee at check-out time Room is on the small side but nicely designed. Would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the less than inspiring street view, at $270 a night would hope for a bit more outlook, or at least a quieter spot."
"Staff are nice, but at night if you call them for help, it took quite a long time for them to pick up the phone. I tried ask for the toilet but at last didn’t receive any. Room was clean, design was modern. The location was good that you can walk to the CBD and pier. House cleaning did a great job arranging my things. Breakfast choices were not much."
"This place smells like cat urine! The overwhelming smell when you enter the room is enough to knock you out. They couldn’t move us as the are fully booked. They said to check back in the morning if they can shuffle us to somewhere else. I might have to consider moving to another hotel. Update: thanks to the lovely Sarah who was able to move us to another room. Seems like the rooms on the street side have a moisture problem as the other side where we now are is much better and has no smell. On a seperate note the hotel breakfast is a sad state, it’s probably the worst I have every experienced, save yourself the money and buy breakfast at a cafe. I’ve stayed with Crystalbrook in Newcastle and Byron, there breakfasts are much better. This was a really low quality, cheap bread, 1 pastry option, awful coffee, not very high end considering what this brand is trying to emulate."
"My family booked a two bedroom apartment for a five night stay. Absolute perfection! Prime location convenient to attractions, shopping, grocery, and the Esplanade. Our accommodations were modern, inviting, and extremely clean. The thoughtful design features maximize the efficiency of the space. I loved that we were able to cook a few meals in our kitchen space, complete with full sized appliances, tableware and pots & pans. The bathrooms were luxurious and having two of them made getting ready in the mornings mush faster for the four of us. And it was fantastic to have a washer and dryer within our apartment! They even supplied the laundry powder which was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!"
