"The Remada needs renovating internally & externally to bring it up to a 4 star rating. We stayed in Tower Room 402 everything worked, we had a water view but everything in the room looked old & tired. The location is the only thing worth 4 star rating."

"This hotel is badly in need of a full refurb. Our initial room was sad! Fittings, furniture, broken slats on window treatments, entrance, lift, stairways, tiling were all tired and outdated, certainly not the 4 star hotelwe had paid for through Discover Australia. And the restaurant was abysmal! Dirty floors, shabby tablecloths under glass, cold food, poor selection and not working notice on the coffee machine so no coffee! The only shining light in this hotel is the staff, especially Sarah who did her best and found us a better room by day 3. We were devastated as this was our first holiday in a year."

"If you need a really cheap place to stay that's near everything and a block from the water, this is it. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Pro/con: Pros: Inexpensive Great location, you can walk to nearly everything Fantastic desk staff, very helpful with everything (bent over backwards when our flight was cancelled and we had to stay another day) Ultra-fast WiFi . . . but almost nonexistent internet itself (so, not helpful, see below). Very clean inside and out Beautiful pool Amazing landscaping Restaurant wasn't open for a lot of it, leaking gas line (fixed now) Two beautiful outdoor seating areas (not counting the pool or outside restaurant areas) Cons: Hot tub has been filed in with dirt and flowers. People needed to change rooms because the locks don't work They said to put a card on the bed if you wanted the sheets changed . . . but in 6 days no one has set foot in the room. Two towels (with no hand towels) for 6 days, we ended up using pool towels. Trash never taken out for 6 days. Lots of rotting wood, moldy outdoor tiles, lose railings, two cherry pickers taking up space in the parking lot (one has been here for two weeks without moving). The chair at the desk is over a foot too low (I'm over 6 feet tall and couldn't reach my keyboard). Extremely poor internet (didn't work at all for 2 out of 6 days). To use the elevator to the second floor, you have to carry your suitcases up a half-story set of stairs (which somewhat defeats the purpose of an elevator), then at the top lower your suitcases down a step ramp (seriously, who designed this?)."

"Room was poor. 1. Window slats couldn't close properly 2. Telephone not working 3. Taps not closing fully so dripping continued with water wasted. 4. No microwave 5. No crockery or cutlery Service from room staff was good 1. Clean sheets provided daily 2. Milk, coffee, tea generously provided daily 3. Check in and check out quick and easy Dr Derek Sequeira"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. I was uncertain as ended up seeing several bad reviews. I can’t complain about anything about the Ramada. Great location, clean and the room was great for the price I paid. I was travelling along and felt safe. Thanks for having me !"
