Magnetic Island, situated within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, is a tropical paradise accessible via a 25-minute ferry or 45-minute barge ride from Townsville. As the nearest metropolitan center, Townsville can be reached by car, plane, or even the occasional cruise ship. With direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne on Virgin Australia and Jetstar, getting here is a breeze. From the airport, it's just a short 10-minute car/taxi/shuttle ride to the Sealink Ferry terminal. From there, 18 ferries per day make the scenic trip across Cleveland Bay to the island ferry terminal in Nelly Bay. For those who prefer to bring their own vehicle, Fantasea offers convenient transfers with their barge, making 7-8 trips per day and providing great value for groups.

At Mango Treehouse, you'll find yourself just 1.2 km from the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal, making it easily accessible for all guests. The bus line that travels to Picnic Bay conveniently runs along Mango Parkway, with the nearest bus stop just a short walk away. Mango Treehouse itself is aptly named, as it sits among the tall, mature mango trees that line Mango Parkway. Our high-set house features two bedrooms, one bathroom, and can comfortably accommodate up to five guests with two queen beds and one single bed.
