"We had 3 nights at this beautiful Queenslander and loved every minute of it. Great location with walking distance to Alma Bay for a morning swim or a great location to enjoy sunset, and easy and convenient bus transfer if you don't bring your own car or want to enjoy a drink and dinner at the pub. Compared to other houses we have been in, Daggoombah is extremely well appointed especially in the kitchen, there was nothing that we missed and the place was spotless both inside and out. Loved the back patio including the odd little kookaburra visitor saying good morning and fabulous birdlife all around. We went for a couple of hikes but also spent time enjoying the house relaxing with a book and have no hesitations in recommending this to anyone who is looking for a great long weekend or week getaway. We are looking forward to going back definitely looking to make it a week next time."
"We had such a wonderful 4 nights at Daggoombah Holiday House. Great spacious home that has everything you would need when you are away from home. We especially loved sitting outside watching the wildlife. We will be back."
"Loved our mini break at Daggoombah house on Magnetic Island. Bus stop right out front. So easy to get around the Island. Everything and more than we needed. We will be back to stay longer. Thank you"
"We stayed at the house for five nights and had an absolute ball. It's a gorgeous view from the balcony. Have a gin and tonic while listening to the birds. Magical. We were able to bring our Kelpie and she loved to run around the spacious yard. The little gourmet deli down the road is great for charcuterie, olives, bread etc. For swims we went either to Alma Bay (no stinger suit needed - but a little busier beach), or down to Picnic Bay. Basically no one there but us. If you bring plenty of mozzie coils, the little buggers will leave you alone and you can have all the lights on at night. The kitchen has anything you need. From capsule coffee maker, to pre-made ice cubes. The little airfryer/oven thingy was even better than the one we have at home. If you don't fancy watching regular tv, bring some dvd's. There is a dvd player in the house. Great stay all around. Hope to be back one day!"
"3N getaway to Magnetic Island and family (4Adults) stayed at Daggoombah House. Fabulous location - central to everything, walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and walking trails. We did have a car so able to explore the island further as well. House very spacious, clean, comfortable and fully self-contained - with creature comforts of home - including picnic gear, games etc. Setting very tranquil and relaxing - sitting on the large elevated back patio overlooking the rainforest of gum trees - local kingfisher kookaburra's coming close for a visit and even koala's sleeping in the trees. Will definitely be going back again! Hosts have thought of everything to make our stay very memorable."
