"Have stopped here every time at Townsville, and never disappointed with the way the park is not crowded. Amenities are getting on in years, but good anyway. Clothes washing at a reasonable price."
"Not to bad for a camp-site stay for 2 weeks !!! Than the so called manager of the park !!! Got suspicious!!! But other than that!!!! Good location!!! Castletown shopping centre 3 minutes walk from the park !!! Right next door to the showgrounds !!! Who apparently own the whole park !!!! An watch you from cameras everywhere in the caravan park!!!! Other than that!!! Comfy relaxing stay !!!!"
"Lovely place with the trees, centrally located but.. young manager not available during office hours or on the 24/7 phone. Attitude showing when dealing with her. The building had spongy and rotten boards. Had to ask for towels.. Insufficient cutlery,glasses,cups or plates. dirty. Bed had a bottom sheet and a doona - that's it. Advertised as self-contained - only cooker was a microwave. The whole park was very run down and needs maintenance."
"I had read some terrible reviews and was nervous to stay here but we thought it was fantastic. Great location with shops within walking distance and bus stop to the city right outside. Toilets and showers old but clean and lots available so no waiting. Level site, well priced and there were no noisy permanent residents. We felt very safe here."
"Relaxed green park behind the showgrounds, there was no one in the office, we had previously been told to find our own site which we did. A number of permanent residents which keep to themselves. The amenities are very very run down. The location is only 10 minutes to the beautiful foreshore & town, and 5 minutes to the local shopping centre to stock up on supplies. Not for fussy caravaners."
