Reviews
"Very noisy. Not only noises coming from common areas, parties, people coming in and out slamming doors in the middle of night. (Even when you formally complain not much is done). Also during the day there are frantic noises of lawn mowers, leaves blowers every day. Even when you close all doors and windows it is impossible to work from home or even get a regular phone call. On top of that: abusiveness in rent rises."
"Grounds and amenities are really good and the site culture is friendly. I see some noise complains here, but it is rare IMHO, and it seems that the people complaining have no built-up living experience and make no effort to reduce the impact of reasonable lifestyle noise themselves. It’s not like there are “party” apartments flogging it all night every night. I never experienced anything I would have considered unreasonable use of common areas, and I live next to the BBQ area and open space where most events are held. Some large kids parties were the most disruptive mostly due to numbers, but were during the day/early night and short so no “real” harm was done. Hearing kids laugh and play to kind of a cool vibe for a day anyway! Great place to live!"
"The complex is located near to city (10min by bus60), and West End Ferry (10min walk), it has spacious green areas, 2 swimming pools and beautiful gardens. It’s also a pet friendly departments, bbq and very clean common areas. It’s like a little resort in the middle of West End Suburbs, friendly staff and good residents support."
"I was yelled and sworn at whilst trying to assist my former spouse and children in vacating a unit with my 15 year old son by some guy called Greg and supposedly a "manager" for leaving a vehicle and trailer near the lift shaft to facilitate the expeditious moving of furniture and boxes. To their credit, the "office manager" offered the simple and practical solution of moving the vehicle to the opposite side of the thoroughfare and we undertook the move without further interruption nor trouble. How someone like Greg is employed in this position displaying this type of disgraceful conduct is beyond all reasonable comprehension. A letter was subsequently written to head office about this but no response was forthcoming."
"Since our last correspondence to the onsite Caretaker with regards to noise beaches of by-laws, there has not been an improvement in the situation. In fact, there has been an escalation of events. On average in a week, at least 3-4 nights have occurrences of people using the common areas (swimming pool or the BBQ area) and creating lots of noise, past 10pm. We do not see the resident Caretaker diligently stepping in to advise these people that they are violating the by-laws. We have texted the Caretaker every single time these incidences would occur but there would be no reply and certainly no action taken to clear these people away. As you might or might not be aware this complex is an enclave (where there are buildings surrounding all 4 boundaries of the common area). In this scenario, any sound created in the common area reverberates against the buildings and gets amplified by the time it reaches the higher floors. We live on the upper floor and trust me it is very noisy! By-laws are there to be enforced. After all, we are not paying the body corporate fees to be living in a what this place is becoming - a housing commission - with no rules and regulations enforced! The resident Caretaker whose responsibility is to upkeep these by-laws but is not doing his job diligently; and when we approach him about this, he simply says that it is not his responsibility. As owners and paying body corporate fees, we expect a better job at managing this place. We request that this issue of noise breaches and the incompetency of the Caretaker to deal with these breaches be taken to the next committee meeting to be discussed. The frequent nightly noise is impacting our peaceful enjoyment of our life in this complex."
