"One star for their availability which was much appreciated. However, guy came out and charged us an initial $105 for literally 5mn onsite pulling the good old: “we ll have to order the piece and come back”. Yeah that’s fine except that they would charge us another $190 for a 30 bucks broken part and 10mn labour?! Seriously? Fixed it myself for $31 which was what the part cost me. Unbelievable..not mentioning the $18 “freight” for a 10cm long plastic piece... Dishonest business, avoid."

"I took my 25 year old Maytag washing machine to be repaired after having in the past nightmare experiences with large ripoff repairers who charge more than medical specialists and try to sell you new equipment. I was worried I never find a genuine old school repairer. I did, and in my local area. From my first call to when I collected my machine I felt that I was in good hands and would be treated fairly. Michael fixed my machine so it will continue to provide years of washing and did so for a very reasonable cost. I recommend this firm whole heartedly and will be my go to repair shop for any other repairs I may need in the future. Thank you Michael it’s been a pleasure doing business with you."

"I really love supporting local businesses so regret not being able to provide great feedback. My Samsung air conditioning needed a new part. The team were good at keeping me engaged about the delays in its receipt to them. I was repeatedly advised that these delays are typical of Samsung. However when it arrived, it was the wrong part. Again, several phone call and I was advised they would keep me informed. That was the last I heard of anything for more than 3 weeks. I rang today to ask for an update and was told " there is no updatewhat do you want me to update you with. What do you expect. You have a Samsung". My apparently wretched Samsung was here when I bought my simple home. I apologise for the inconvenience to the team at BEAR. Perhaps a new one will be best. But I will find someone that values their customers."
