In 2011, we moved into our state-of-the-art premises, purpose-built to enhance the comfort and convenience of our patients. Prior to that, we operated from our neighboring location at 16 Main. Dr. Jan Zomerdijk, one of our esteemed GPs, along with his wife Janny Goris, a public health dietitian, travel to Kanabea village in Papua New Guinea every year as volunteers. They work alongside the local community to improve health delivery at the Kanabea hospital and primary school.

Kanabea village is located in the highlands of the Gulf Province, one of the least developed regions in Papua New Guinea. Due to the lack of roads, our team must be flown in, along with their equipment and donated goods from the generous Tamborine Mountain Community. This initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive impact beyond our local community.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that from Saturday 22 July until Thursday 31 August 2023, all Queensland residents aged six months and older will be eligible to receive a free influenza vaccine at our practice. This initiative aims to promote public health and protect our community from the flu.
