"Outstanding. Aptly named, Mystics Beach Bungalows was the perfect place to stay for a magical, replenishing, three sunny day escape in June. Stylish, comfortable, practical, well equipped bungalows in a tranquil location. Substantially built and luxuriously finished cabins with wooden floorboards, large windows, rain shower heads, lush linen, full block and sheer curtains, heating/cooling, coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen, full laundry accessories, supportive bedding. We lacked absolutely nothing, and felt completely at home, but better. It is clear that every aspect of a guests experience has been thoughtfully considered to the iota, from how well you sleep in the beautiful beds, to a layout with furnishings that maximise space, independence, and ensure absolute privacy. The location was perfect- situated in an ultra quiet street, apart from the twittering of birds. It was safe for my children to walk by themselves about 100m to the reserve and wade in the clear water of the still river, while I stayed in the bungalow sipping coffee with sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains…The region is amazing, blending green mountains, blue seas, and crystal lagoons, and amazing surf beaches. One is spoilt for choice: from high sunset vistas over the undulating coastline, to quiet pink sky moments by a glassy blue lagoon, moonlight walks along the headland….I will not fail to mention our kind, knowledgeable, generous, warm, and extremely professional host, Charlie. He was invisible, but only a text or call away from answering minor questions, to holiday recommendations. His communication was instant, and his advice set our agenda for our stay, including the provision of a paddleboard, which was the highlight of our holiday. A perfect host. The bungalows are a jewel of a find. I thoroughly recommend for those who like style, creature comforts, privacy, relaxation and freedom."

"We stayed in the first fully refurbished unit on a weekend in mid December. We were so impressed with the place. It fit a family of four comfortably and had a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely large bathroom with own laundry. We found the beds lovely and comfortable and enjoyed sitting on the verandah in the early evening while the children played on the grass. A can stroll down to the end of the street for access to the river and the beach a short drive away. The whole area is a little gem, we’d love to come back for a longer stay."
