"Giving 1 star is a lot. When a person goes to service desk they’re definitely going there because they need help so if BigW can’t hire people with good attitude then they should close this area as people have enough on their plate to come to your store and get treated poorly. Note: “smiling in people’s faces doesn’t mean you’re not rude”. If you can’t be nice to people then don’t work in customer service. Since you know your policies that much perhaps you want to read it again as customers should be treated with respect at all times. The lady at the checkout yelled at my 3 years old daughter for touching the chocolate. Hopefully management can take this matter seriously and work on putting people with good and nice attitude as I left the store feeling down."

"I was very unimpressed witnessing BigW security guard accosting 2 young minors, this isn't the first time he has deliberately targeted youth. If he was doing his job he would of had solid proof of accusations which he had zero, he threatened police but had no substance so was just empty threats. Both the youths had nothing on them and i felt for them both, i personally spoke to them to make sure they were okay. The female employee the older woman with glasses also stood by and did nothing. I think its absolutely abhorrent what happened here today.I do not recommend this BigW. Go to any other store. Management needs to do something about people letting power go to their heads. I will not shop here ever again."

"Best not go to big W for online orders. They use couriers please for shipping (couriers please reviews will tell you enough) 1.5 months, no product (iPad) received. Went to counter, said they would contact me about it the next day, 3 days later, never did. Wait time on phone is about 30+ mins. Save yourself time and energy"

"I come here very often. I've bought many items and I am very satisfied. Every aspect is painless. Finding an item? Staff will help. Need to return an item? No problem. Need to buy an item, lots of staff and self serve checkouts available. 10/10 recommend."

"Nice open Big W. The store is well lit and nicely laid out. There is plenty of room between the aisles and not a lot of clutter from the specials displays. Staff are generally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Bonus is that they have both manned checkouts and self-service checkouts. Only downside is no disabled or larger space self-service checkouts for people who are in wheelchairs or have prams, etc."
