Our clinic operates in partnership with Flinders Peak Medical Centre, a trusted healthcare provider in the City of Ipswich.

At Purga Respiratory Clinic, we prioritize the health and well-being of our patients. Our team of skilled General Practitioner (GP) doctors operate their independent medical service businesses within our premises. Each GP has their own billing structure and consultation times, providing flexibility and personalized care. The Flinders Peak Medical Centre supports our doctors by offering consulting space, reception, nursing services, and access to essential equipment and consumables.

Please note that currently, our doctors at Flinders Peak Medical Centre are not accepting new patients. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Regarding COVID-19 and Influenza management, we have implemented strict protocols to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Symptomatic patients must wear a mask while inside the clinic and are required to bring their own mask. We do not provide masks at the clinic. Additionally, symptomatic patients are requested to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before their appointment and only attend if the test result is negative.

If you are an existing patient of the main surgery and have COVID-19 and/or flu symptoms, you can opt for a Telehealth appointment. To be eligible for bulk-billing, you must have had an in-person consultation at the main surgery within the past 12 months and possess a current Medicare card number. Please contact our Reception to book a Telehealth appointment, as online booking is not available for these appointments.

For the safety of all patients, including those who may be immunocompromised, we kindly ask that you adhere to our requirements and guidelines.

If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19, such as high temperature, shortness of breath, coughing, headache, or loss of taste or smell, please seek medical attention promptly. In case of severe symptoms, such as severe shortness of breath, please call for an ambulance immediately at 000.
