"I’ve been to grape a fair few times. It’s a good place to dance on fri/sat night however theirs more than often a lady bouncer who uses her control in unprofessional ways. I was out on Friday night and all was good my partner and I got ID and went inside but she wouldn’t let my mate in for something that happened the weekend previously. (We all were having a chill night and had about 2-3 drinks each) so we were all sober. My friend was upset by this so I went back to try and calm him down my partner had just gone inside and had my phone. After trying to calm my friend down I apologised to her for his actions and went to walk in again and go to find my partner. Then She said I was “too drunk” even tho I was clearly sober. I said well I think it’s pretty obvious I’m not she said “well I don’t really care ur not going in anymore ” I couldn’t be bothered arguing with her so I said okay we’ll leave I’m just going to go and get my partner and we’ll go somewhere else, she wouldn’t allow this. Anyways it was all in my opinion completely wrong and unprofessional. It’s embarrassing for grape to employ someone like her. Just seemed like a pretty immature lady and was all pretty disrespectful and disappointing."
"Had dinner here on a late Sunday arvo. The food was good, servings were massive. One of the best live music by a guitarist. The cocktail jugs were reasonably priced. However, the place inside stunk! It was a struggle ordering at the bar as the smell almost put us off our food. I've worked and owned bars and nightclubs and that smell is a sign of poor cleaning! The cheese platter is served with rice crackers! Unusual combination! Service was ok."
"Good friendly service. Not bad prices for Salamanca..... the meal arrived in a reasonable time and was quite nice but my chips were soft and undercooked..... I would definitely give that menu another try..."
"Went here night one and absolutely loved the food, it was honestly the best food I'd had in Tasmania, walked all around Hobart night two trying to try something else to experience and ended back up here again. One of the only places that serves 3 oysters instead of 6. Staff were lovely as well."
