Welcome to Grovedale Primary School, a leading establishment and point of interest in Australia. Located at Bailey Street, 143 in Grovedale, our primary school is dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. At Grovedale Primary School, our primary focus is on providing a child safe environment where children and young people not only feel safe but also have their voices heard in decisions that affect their lives.

We place particular emphasis on the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as children with disabilities. Our commitment to their wellbeing is reflected in every aspect of our care and decision-making.

Situated in the Grovedale East-Marshall area, just seven kilometers from the city center, Grovedale Primary School has been serving the local community since 1855. We have been located on our current site since 1865. With an enrollment of approximately 250 students across 11 classes, we offer a personalized and inclusive learning environment.

Our school currently operates two Foundation (prep) classes, four Year 1/2 classes, four Year 3/4 classes, and three Year 5/6 classes. Students have the opportunity to participate in Specialist Learning Areas such as Digital Technologies, Health & Physical Education, The Arts, and Languages (Italian) for one hour per week. We also prioritize the social and emotional development of our students through the School Wide Positive Behaviour approach, Berry Street Education Model, and Respectful Relationships resources.
