"Disappointing experience and staff not interested in serving customers. We love Nandos and visited the Springfield Lakes store on 13/08/23 at 11:30am for an early lunch. We went to the counter to order like we always do only to be told by the staff member at the counter (coloured hair) that she can't take our order and we must use the QR code on the table. After questioning if this was a new policy (we went to the North Ipswich Nandos only two weeks earlier and were served by friendly staff) she begrudgingly said she could do it for us this once. We said we would use the QR code and went to a table to order. Not only does the online ordering system want all your details, it also doesn't work. Giving up we went to speak to the manager, who told us this was a directive from head office. She also suggested we could put in fake details and confirmed staff are not allowed to take our order at the counter unless we show proof on our phone that the online system is not working. What a joke, you can't even order lunch through a human anymore. This whole experience and bad review could have been solved by just providing friendly customer service."

"Arrived during a busy lunch hour, yet staff provided a good service. The food wait was reasonable, and the food was great. The chicken and broccolini were cooked nicely, but the rice was pretty dry. Though the store looked pleasant, the outside dining area could have been kept clean. Many tables were dirty, but understandable it’s a busy period and limited staff."

"This Nandos has lots going for it, the food here is pretty good most of the time and the atmosphere in the outdoor area of Orion is pretty good. The thing that lets this place down is the facilities. Grabbing one of the bottles is like grabbing a cake of soap, the way these things can hold soo much grease and be so dank and slippery is beyond me. The tables are always riddled with grit and grime, usually you need to clean them yourself. It’s as if the staff are trying to leave the tables as dirty as they possibly can to avoid the extra customers! Honestly, the floor is usually cleaner then the tabletops are! At any rate, it’s not the worst Nandos ever, it’s just a Nandos with the aura of a 3AM McDonald’s outdoor area. Yes, before you ask.. all of these pics are from the same day!"

"Avoid on Saturdays around lunch time, this is when their service drops & the food takes over 30 minutes to serve. There were stacks of delivery bags sitting for ages on their Counters & it makes me think that if they just focus more on the food for the dine in, perhaps there would be less drama. Would be helpful if they also informed patrons that there's a wait time over 30 minutes PRIOR to paying."

"Nandos used to be so good before the pandemic. The chicken is just something you could make at home. We walk in and were told it’s all self serve order on your phone. We spent 10 minutes ordering online and when we went to order it came up with an error message. We went inside and lined up to place an order with the worker, the lady in front of us was having the same issues with the online ordering. The girl serving was rude and said ‘order online’ after we stated we were having same order issues. If your implementing online ordering you should be aware when the site is down and staff aware. Didn’t seem like anyone wanted to even be working there. Managed to stuff up the order asked for no tomato and grilled onions, as you can see in the photo it’s grilled onions about 3 pieces probably from when they last bloody cooked them. My partner was advised there was no bacon and asked for extra chicken, the bun on his burger was stale. By this point we were going to be running late for our movie so no point trying to get it fixed seeing as it had already taken 30 minutes. Poor service, poor food very disappointed."
