"This is the second post I am making, since the owner of the kennels called me to threaten me, saying she would take me to her solicitor if I didn’t delete my last review as it was apparently slander. So, I have attached pictures of my dog before (first two pics) and after (third pic) she was in the kennels for a duration of 5 weeks. When asked about the excess weight loss of my 3 year old Rottweiler, we were told that the dogs exercise a lot in the yards and that my dog was actually super healthy and happy, which is definitely not the case, even after 2 weeks of her being back at home. I then sent them pictures of my dogs condition of when we got her back. The manager and owner gave me different stories about how much my dog was being fed, while the owner proceeded to tell me that my dog was actually overweight before she had come into the kennels and that she only looks underweight in the after photos because of the angle that the picture was taken. She then told me that none of this has to be made public, which I do not agree with at all. During her stay, my dog also got attacked by another dog and has scarring on her face and behind her ear. I was told that the dogs got into a fight because they were left unsupervised “only for a few minutes”. My dog also had a number of smaller scars around her neck upon her return. Definitely NOT a place I would recommend."
"Our dog has lost more than 10% of his body weight (~1kg) and had very runny poo for a few days after the recent 10 days stay. The feedback provided half way through his stay was "good". His dog bed that we provided was also covered in strong urine smells, considering he's a fully house trained dog."
"Our dog loves Doggos and always comes home “re-dogged” and happy after running around with other dogs for a few days. Thanks to the team for obviously caring so much about their furry customers."
"Our dog is well looked after when she spends time at Doggos. She runs to get in, and comes back completely exhausted. Staff are super kind and caring, and provide you with all information before and during your dog's stay. There are also daily pics on their Facebook page, so you can check on your dog when you are away."
"Doggos is our precious dogs second home, due to work commitments he boards there every other week and attends daycare frequently. Chantelle, Chris and ALL the wonderful team treat Lockie just like their own. He's safe, happy and has so much fun with all his friends there, I can relax knowing he's in the best hands around. I couldn't ask for better peace of mind!"
