He further specialized in Gynaecological Oncology at prestigious hospitals such as the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and The Mater Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

With his extensive experience and expertise, Dr Bunting is the only Gynaecologic Oncologist currently practicing in Tasmania. He offers a comprehensive state-wide service to both private and public patients. Private patients undergo surgery at the Hobart Private Hospital, while public patients have their surgeries performed at the esteemed Royal Hobart Hospital.

What sets Dr Bunting and Hobart Women’s Specialists apart is that they are the only practice in Tasmania to provide Private Gynaecological Oncology services. All surgeries are conducted in Hobart, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and convenience.

Dr Bunting holds consultations in our clinic every second Monday and Friday morning, as well as every Wednesday afternoon. In addition, he attends specialist clinics at the Launceston General Hospital every second Friday, ensuring accessibility to patients outside of Hobart.
