"Nice caravan and unit park at the end of the Wangi peninsula. It’s a bit remote but in a good location. Be aware there are camping/ van sites available in the bush just past the main campground that are in a great location and I’m surprised I wasn’t offered one of those instead of the boring slab sites. Btw, it’s pronounced ‘wun-gee’, not ‘Wang-e’ apparently. Who knew."
"We really enjoyed our visit on Site 33 at the waterfront. It rained a bit but it didn’t matter because we didn’t get wet and it sure didn’t bother the visitors!! We will be back! If you want to chill out with the locals this is the place. Great amenities too."
"Loved our stay here. What a location! Right on the lake, shady trees, heaps of bird life, great network of walking tracks adjacent to the van park, and cheap drinks at the Wangi Workers Club. What more could you ask for! Thanks to Jo from the office for adding so much to my knowledge of the local area. We will be back!!"
"What an awesome place for views of the lake it’s a basic park but that’s perfect if that’s what your after. Sites are large with power and water. The park is right on the water so boat ramp and pier are all here for all the great water sports. Ample kitchen showers etc. expect to enjoy lovely breezes and birds with resident ducks."
