Reviews
"Love going to this theatre! If you haven't been, get there!"
"Great place to visit. I personally went to the "Seing is beLIEving" act by Daniel Hidden. It was spectacular. Definitely recommend civic theatre."
"Wonderful ambience. The seats are indicative of the age of the build (1927) with small leg room. Good sound Acoustics though. The best place in the Hunter to see shows though."
"Beautiful old style Theatre. Comfortable. Staff well organised and pleasant. It was easy to book online for the show and choose the seats I wanted. It’s not a huge theatre so even sitting near the back wasn’t too far from the action onstage. Just be careful when choosing your seats that you note the pillars that block the view from a few seats on the side. They are usually cheaper."
"Fantastic venue with lots of atmosphere and comfy seats. Pre-shows drinks at the bar which can be taken in with you. Avoid having to park the car and ride or public transport. Handy to restaurants along the river as well."
