"Fabulous Cozy Setting for a date or a dinner. The lady was amazing from waiting on customers to collecting payments, she was friendly and just so helpful. Service is excellent beyond words. Food was superb and the portions were huge. Might just want to tone down just 0.05 of the garnishes as spring onion tastes will last in the mouth a long time."
"Great service from the staff, they were so friendly and accommodating to all of our meals (table of 5). We had the Calamari, Veals and pasta dishes. Finished off with in house made gelatos and cakes. Perfect meal, service and location."
"Not the Northern Star Cafe that it once was. Very bland meals, garlic bread entree came out 10 minutes after the main. Garlic bread was a slice of bread cut into 2 pieces, it still had the unmelted butter/margarine on top. Everyone used to be given 2 slices of crusty bread with all meals free of charge. It was once our favourite, not any more. Pity."
"This place is great. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff are kind. I had their Turkish delight gelato and oh my it was absolutely delicious! I came back for a second scoop later, I just couldn’t help myself. Probably the best gelato in Newcastle by far."
"We wandered in here off a recommendation on the street. The place was full, but they got us set up out in the hallway, which was actually really nice. The lady that looked after us was absolutely fantastic, funny and really helpful. The food was very well priced for the quality and the size of the servings, I had the Gnocchi which I thoroughly enjoyed. All in all a great dining experience."
