"We do not recommend using Dimension Gardenscape because: 1) we identified numerous discrepancies in the variations/accounting practices of the company; 2) the finished product is mostly good but barely satisfactory in a couple of areas (e.g. irrigation system is inoperable and some pavers are a different shade from the rest) , 3) our full garden renovation took months longer to complete than necessary. When we questioned the costs behind some large variation invoices the company became defensive. With difficulty we received a variation of several thousand dollars in our favour. For works at the rear of a garage we paid many thousands of dollars for materials, labour and substantial hidden costs that we could not get the details for and we believe to be far in excess of retail prices and industry hourly rates. Significant expenses were also incurred for a small pond without a prior variation being agreed. Our learnings: We should have insisted that there were no “tbc” items in the contract, insisted that each item in the draft contract be broken down into more specific work packages, with itemised costs for materials, labour and administrative fees (e.g. “delivery costs”); insisted that visibility of all subcontractors invoices and % mark up by Dimension be included in the contract; insisted that the costs of waste disposal be itemised in the contract and any money made on our waste (recycling metal, pants/trees etc) be itemised and deducted from the contract price."

"We cannot recommend this business highly enough. The designer worked with us through many iterations until the design was spot on. The builders built the landscape in the most challenging of wet-weather conditions. Trevor has connections with many other businesses, so their services (e.g. fencing) were integrated seamlessly. Most significantly, when we accidentally pierced the drainage twice in the first few days, repairs were made quickly, calmly and cheerfully. You learn the most about people when things go wrong, not when they go right, and this episode allowed us to see Dimension Landscape's professionalism during what seemed to us like a crisis. You can choose this business with confidence."

"Our project was a major redesign after our rebuild. We had kept some of the original plantings and trees. With Dimension we were able to work with their designer to achieve a low maintenance garden scape with irrigation and lovely courtyard with paving. Pete and his team were a pleasure to work with and kept us informed as we went along. They went the extra yard to obtain the plants and trees we wanted and more than happy to make a few design changes as we went along. We now have a lovely view from every window. Thanks guys."

"Overall we are happy with the end product, though will need to wait some time for the garden to establish to be completely happy. I will say the process wasn’t as low stress as I’d hoped, which was probably mainly due floods causing some delivery delays and the pandemic making some design items unavailable. We had some communication errors in the process but once identified they were rectified quickly. We also had a design vs reality error that was also rectified quickly. We were given a garden care handbook at completion which has been very helpful. The team was professional and very patient and we’d recommend them to others."

"Dimension Gardenscape installed a Japanese garden at the front of our house. They did a great job, and had a friendly and competent team. The garden plan required the installation of some very large rocks, and the entire process took 3 days. It all went like clockwork, and we were delighted with the result."
