"We booked overnight in luxury king size room and were not disappointed. Everything you would need including fluffy bath robes, and room spotlessly clean. Heating and electric blankets all in good order and a super comfy bed. Welcoming staff, would definitely recommend.."

"I spent the night with my family after returning home to see the snow. The McDonald's, KFC, and a few other restaurants are only a short drive away from this nice motel. The Staff was friendly and supportive. The room was nice and clean and equipped with a heater, comfortable beds, electric blankets, and a decent-sized bathroom. The wifi was good too. I highly recommend this stay for your next visit."

"It was hard deciding on a rating for my stay, but I think my decision to give 4/5 is apt. I'll start with the positives. It was very good value for money. There was a pool. My room was clean. My bed was comfy. The air con worked well. The shower was good and the towels were thick and thirsty. There was commentary tea and coffee. The not so goods. My room was small but value for money. While my room was immaculately clean, whatever cleaning product or air freshener they used was a bit too strong in smell. My check in experience was not good. I walked out of reception with my key feeling bad. Having a customer walk away feeling bad is not good for business. I wasn't greeted with a smile. That's not major but it still matters. I arrived 90 minutes earlier than check-in time, asking if I could check in early. (The reason was I had a pounding headache, I had to cancel my appointments that afternoon, and I just wanted to go to bed.) The gentleman serving said it 'would have been better' for them if I had phoned ahead. It may have been but I didn't know that. I merely enquired if my room was ready and, if so, would I be able to check in early. If he said no I would have left and come back 90 minutes later without any complaint. My room was ready and he did let me check in early, at no additional cost to myself. That was great and I appreciated that. I was made to feel though that I, the paying customer, had put them out, which I had no intention of doing so, and that left me feeling bad. Surely no business that wants to do well wants a customer of theirs to feel bad. I see management frequently replies to reviews posted here, and I think a reply will be coming to my review. I hope management considers in its reply that I have given a good rating (which I do not always do), that I appreciate the early check-in, and that my criticism should be taken constructively."

"I had Room 23, and it was excellent and nearly a 5-star room. It's well managed, and the team were very welcoming and looked after all my needs. Had a dip in the pool to cool off, and it was very, very refreshing. Definitely would stay there again!!"

"Staff friendly, responsive and accommodating. Good wifi. V comfortable bed n lovely soft robes. However, room cramped and dark. Busy road and restaurant closed at weekends - just when we were there!"
