"Beautiful hidden gem located in the nation's capital with a wonderful selection of preowned and new boutique items. Thank you to Taylor and the Team for always going above and beyond no request is too small & don’t get me started on the floral arrangements in store!!"
"Woah. Ok... Where do I start... $75 for a cruddy 80s POLYESTER blouse?? Jaw dropped. I already had bad vibes the second I pulled up at the place: it's an op shop but it looks like some uppity boutique. Well. That's the thing... IT IS a boutique. False advertising!!!! Call it what it is: another overpriced consignment store! It's absolutely not an op shop, and it should not be advertised as one. I guess they couldn't think of a more creative way to describe "Gentrified Antiques". Ladies working there seemed nice enough but I just know there's a nepo baby thing going on. Too suspicious to linger. If you're a rich white woman who wants to dip her feet into the second hand market, this is the store for you. If you're just the rest of us, who just like to find a good treasure at a reasonable price, then skip this place. Plenty of other much more affordable AND well curated places to visit in Fyshwick alone. EDIT: Upon reading some of the other negative reviews, I have to laugh about people recounting their experiences with the women that work there, and also the way the baristas were treated. Looked like the cafe's not running anymore, there's a 'for lease' sign but I imagine they'd have a hard time finding anyone to run the cafe after what I assume was pretty abysmal workplace environment. If the owners can't even treat their customers with the basic respect of greeting them, then I can't imagine how they'd treat co-workers. Yeah and the nepo baby thing rings true. Massive L."
"It's been a long time since a store has made me feel so snubbed and unwelcome. The store itself has some beautiful pieces but the attitude of the staff was beyond insulting."
"I’d like to add to the chorus of reviews below. A couple of years ago I attended this shop to sell a few clothing items and the ‘buyer’, as noted in other reviews, was extremely rude to me. To quote, she said one of my items was ‘boring’ which I thought was an unnecessary comment. I would’ve been fine with a polite refusal. After insulting me, she then gave me a lowball offer (around $20-30 I think) on a skirt she liked. When I declined, she seemed affronted I’d turned down such a tantalising offer though I note the rudeness was still fresh in my mind. Suggest she works on her EQ. Since that time, I’ve told everyone I know to avoid this shop and I won’t be returning. Do not make excuses for ‘diverse skill sets’, this person should not be in customer service."
"Had a really lovely time! Enjoyed a beautiful lunch that Dion made for me and I had my cup of tea in a beautiful old world cup n saucer sitting outside enjoying the rays of sunshine and pretty huge pits filled with Pansy's and seaside daisy's. So pretty! The shop is looking beautiful and very classy! They do everything beautifully! Well done Dose."
