About the Business
Welcome to SportsCare Barton, located at Sydney Avenue in Barton, Australia. As an establishment focused on health and physiotherapy, we provide a range of allied health services to individuals in all stages of life. Our dedicated team is committed to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal conditions, sporting injuries, and chronic health conditions, with the goal of reducing pain and improving function.
One of our specialties is hand therapy, as we have the largest combined hand therapy team across three locations. We understand that hand injuries or conditions can significantly impact quality of life and function, which is why we offer specialized care to help our patients regain their abilities.
In addition to hand therapy, we also offer evidence-based exercise programs for the prevention and management of chronic health conditions and musculoskeletal injuries. We work closely with our clients and physicians to co-manage concussion injuries, using an evidence-based approach to ensure a safe return to work and play.
At SportsCare, we believe in continuously improving performance, which is why we have our Performance Project. This collection of specialized equipment, analysis, and methods, combined with the expertise of our clinical professionals, aims to enhance performance in your chosen sport or activity.
But our services don't stop there. We also offer a range of other services, including our Running Lab, Massage, Bikefit, Group Classes, Hydrotherapy, and Men's and Women's Health Classes. We are excited to introduce our GLA:D exercise program, which is a game-changer for individuals with knee osteoarthritis. Knee osteoarthritis is a prevalent degenerative joint condition that affects many Australians, causing chronic joint pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Our GLA:D program aims to alleviate these symptoms and improve the quality of life for those living with knee osteoarthritis.
Please note that our Bruce Clinic will be closing its doors on July 14th, 2023. We have enjoyed serving the Bruce community for the past 10 years and are grateful for the support we have received.
Hand Therapy Awareness Week is an important event for us, as it highlights the power of hand therapy in workplace injury recovery. Workplace injuries to the hands can have a significant impact on productivity and well-being. Our hand therapy services play a crucial role in addressing these injuries and facilitating the recovery process.

"This is a huge shout out to Sally. I came in after an workplace injury that was untreated for almost a year. It is now greatly improved with her guidance. She's is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and a source of hope! Sally if you read this, please don't hesitate to reach out on your travels in Melbourne. The practice has my email. Which, also a shout out to the office staff, for being efficient and kind. My tendon had the time of its life, and it owes it all to you!"
"I saw Sally for tennis elbow and trigger finger. She was very good at treating both. She treated me in the clinic and provided me with a home program to help my arm continue to heal . She also taught me exercises to strengthen it. She is very knowledgeable in the treatment of arms and hands. Sally is also compassionate and friendly. Thankyou Sally"

"I booked in on recommendation from my GP for a knee and elbow cycling injury. The check-in experience is pleasant and bookings are simple. My assigned physio, Kate, was engaged, professional and knowledgeable and the do-at-home exercises were simple and easy and provided genuine relief. This was consistent, great service from friendly, knowledgeable staff. What more can you ask for?"
