As you approach our clinic, you'll notice a charming red brick and weatherboard building with a distinctive blue turret on the roof. The entrance is closest to the car park near the Medical Centre and the Florey shops, accessible from both Ratcliffe Crescent and Kesteven Street. If you're bringing a stroller or pram, we recommend using the footpath around the grassed area for easier access.

For those using public transportation, Transport Canberra offers services in and around Florey. The nearest bus stop is located on Ratcliffe Crescent, toward Connah Street, just a short 2 to 3-minute walk from the clinic. However, please note that there is no dedicated taxi drop-off/pick-up point near the Florey Child Health Clinic.

Rest assured, parking is not an issue at our clinic. There is plenty of free parking available in the car parks beside the clinic, and accessible parking is provided in the car park behind the Medical Centre. Additionally, the Southern multi-storey car park on Bateson Road offers free undercover parking, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you're visiting other departments within the hospital, pedestrian access is available via different levels. Level 2 provides access to the main hospital, Level 1 leads to the Canberra Region Cancer Centre and Building 3 Eye Clinic (Ophthalmology), and Level 4 grants access to the Adult Mental Health Unit. For added convenience, you can catch our Courtesy Bus to any of the hospital entry points.

Should you need assistance with transportation, the Belconnen Bus Interchange is located on the intersection of Cohen Street and Lathlain Street, just 160 meters away from platform 1 to Belconnen Community Health Centre, Walk-in Centre, and Opioid Treatment Service. Please exercise caution when crossing roads.

For those driving, patient and visitor parking is available on levels 1, 2, and 3 of the multi-storey car park, accessible from Mary Potter Circuit. This car park is approximately 180 meters and a 2-minute walk to the main entrance and about 400 meters and a 4-minute walk to the Emergency Department of the North Canberra Hospital. It operates 24 hours a day, and there are various parking options available.

In terms of accessibility, there are four accessible car parks in front of the main entrance, located on Menindee Drive. This public parking area provides convenient access for those with mobility needs.
