Reviews
"Receptionist’s are incredibly rude and unwelcoming. For someone who hasn’t frequented the medical centre a lot by myself, I found it quite intimidating when I was greeted by attitude for absolutely no reason."
"ANU medical clinic is the worst clinic I have ever experienced. The receptionist is so rude and wasn't able to understand what appointment I needed. When I was finally able to see Dr Craig Corr about mental health I was questioned why I was in the clinic, laughed at and did not receive the referral. I left feeling so horrible and upset. I would expect SO much more from a university service, this needs to be taken upon seriously as this service could have serious effects on students mental health."
"I've been to the ANU clinic multiple times and have been very disappointed every time. The receptionist and doctor that i saw was extremely rude and dismissive. I waited over a week to get an appointment and then when I finally went the doctor made me rebook and wait another 2 weeks as the slot I was given wasn't long enough. Reception was no help and I really struggled making myself go back."
"Was very unimpressed with the service from the young receptionist. I've tried being polite, but only an unfriendly tone of response was all I got. The GP's, nurse and pathologist are very kind and knowledgeable."
"Been here before a couple of times last year and had a good experience but this time I left wanting to cry. The receptionist was so rude for no reason and the doctor couldn’t care less. It said he had knowledge of women’s health on his profile but when I told him about my problem (which is not that unique) he said he ‘didn’t know what to do’ and gave me a couple of referrals that will ‘cost me money’. When I asked him about health insurance if it costs money he said ‘I don’t know I don’t work in insurance’. It was super condescending and rude. I don’t know how people like this are working in a facility that caters to students who obviously don’t have a lot of money or options. I left feeling super upset and it totally ruined my day. I would rather pay money than visit this clinic again. ANU should be doing better for it’s students."
