The Duxton

"The Duxton hosted our wedding reception on 22 April. We booked out both their upstairs Loft and Living Room locations, with a shared bar, and had cocktail food with a 5 hour drinks package. From the first moment I emailed Emma through to the staff staying back at the end of the night to give us one more dance, the Duxton was fantastic. We chose all of our vendors based on how they treated us and made us feel - and the Duxton staff were so enthusiastic, helpful and kind to us from the get go. The set up was 10 out of 10 - the exact balance of warm comfort lounges, tall cocktail tables, and space for partying. I didn't need to spend heaps on decor because it all looked fantastic. And the food was DELICIOUS!! I ate so many of the pork belly serves, omg. I highly recommend them - I feel like I found a hidden jewel!"

"We dropped in on a Sunday eve. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, it didn't take long to set a table up for two. We ordered the Turf the Surf pizza and the Pumpkin salad. Wow, these two hit the spot, so enjoyable and moreish. The cocktail was great 'Spirit Fingers', personally I would have like it served in a cocktail glass, just me being fussy. On our next visit to the ACT. we will drop it for a bit to eat. (from Sydney and we were very impressed)"

"Kids Hawaiian pizza was tasty a little to much crust but enjoyed. 4/5 Salmon done rare, I’m grew up on salmon, My wife is a traditionalist, it should be cooked through, flavours were incredible but they should have asked me if it prefer rare or cooked through 3.5/5 Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and potato gratin was delicious, flavour of steak was mid range 4/5 Beer was cold and service was great. Vibe was nice and reasonably priced. Do you want?"

"The food is good. Forgot one meal and had to remind the guy who took our order that we were one meal short. Drink ordered through the waiter was forgotten at the bar and was found by us when we went to get a drink from there. Wouldn't recommend coming as a big group as we were a table of 4."

"Really nice bar with great nibbles and drinks. Really have to those buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese sauce. They are great. The pizza here are even better. Ideal place for social events on a Friday night. Yours truly @fooderarri"
