Welcome to the Australian National University Emeritus Faculty, a vibrant community of retired scholars located at 24 Balmain Crescent in Acton, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our institution serves as a hub for retired academic staff and professional officers of the University, as well as invited retirees with connections to other universities and similar institutions.

Our Emeritus Faculty is dedicated to complementing the work of existing staff in universities and corresponding organizations, while also serving the interests of the wider community. We believe in the power of knowledge and the importance of continuing our association with the University to contribute to its growth and impact.

At the ANU Emeritus Faculty, we value the rich experiences and expertise of our members. As part of our commitment to fostering intellectual engagement, we have produced various publications over the years. These include the Committee Minutes, which serve as a record of the Faculty's activities, as well as a monthly newsletter called The Emeritus. Additionally, we occasionally publish e-texts to share valuable insights and research with our community.

To further enhance our members' experience, we organize a range of events throughout the year. These include collegiate luncheons on the first Wednesday of each month, providing an opportunity for networking and socializing. Furthermore, we host engaging lectures on the third Wednesday of the month, where esteemed speakers share their expertise on diverse topics. In the winter months, we come together for an annual dinner, fostering camaraderie and celebration. Additionally, we proudly sponsor an annual lecture, showcasing cutting-edge research and ideas.
