"Resolution psychology has been a life changer for me. Helped me get back to work full-time. X"
"Resolution Psychology provides excellent services to my NDIS clients. Highly recommend!"
"Personally I used to go to CHAMS and they were great, if my social worker new I was at a low time in my life and I wasn’t responding to her for an appointment, she would come to my house to make sure I was alright. I never expected that from Daniel but I did expect him to return my phone calls. I Paid $0 for CHAMS and I got to speak to someone any time I needed. I tired calling up to see if he had any time to have a chat as i was at a really low point but i heard nothing. That is disappointing. If i’m going to pay a fortune for an meeting I would think I could have a chat to him in his spare time when i’m at my lowest. Probably be good for some people, but if you are someone who needs to call your psych to have a chat when you don’t have an appointment booked. This isn’t the place. No hate I just cant fathom why I didn’t at least get a call back from the receptionist."
"I’ve had two different stretches of sessions at Resolution Psychology, for different issues, and the support from the psychologists has always been excellent. It makes a difficult thing easier. Thanks."
"Daniel Did More Harm Than Good I saw Daniel for a few years, on average about once every month or two. We are of similar age and had other things in common so I thought we might be a good match. He said the occasional hurtful remark, but I persisted because I had already built a relationship. However, eventually the damaging comments became too much and I had to stop. I will give specific examples: I started a session by telling him that I had a panic attack at work. It was very distressing and I needed to talk about it in therapy. Daniel, without asking any questions, simply said “no you didn't”. When I got upset about this, he said he often doesn't believe his patients. I now have more issues about whether I’m believed, especially when talking about my health. A few times, Daniel insulted the number of hours I worked and my contribution to society. One time he told me: “You could be curing cancer but instead you choose to do so little with your life.” I think it's the exact opposite: despite all my problems, I am as productive as I can be. When I questioned him about this, he said he was actually complimenting me and he wished he could work so little. I said I’m not doing it because I choose to, but I have to due to medical problems. However, Daniel insisted it was a choice that had nothing to do with my health. Body image issues are also a big problem for me which Daniel only made worse. I told Daniel that a man I know insulted me by saying that I have no muscle and am awful to hug. I waited a while for Daniel to respond, but he did not react at all. So, trying to elicit a response, I said “can you believe a 50-year-old could be so rude?” Daniel then simply called me ageist (and didn't address my problem). Also, when I was talking about my body image issues, Daniel suggested I think of my body like my clothes and hair, “because obviously I don't care about them”. I couldn’t rely on Daniel. Early on in our sessions, I went through a tough breakup. Daniel said he would call twice over the following week to check in, but he only called once. He apologised at the start of my following session, but did not give any reason. Daniel was also hugely inappropriate when he talked about himself. In one session I was talking about my social anxiety when Daniel interjected and commented on the “roots he's missed out on” and how he remembers them more than the “roots he actually had”. Another time I was revealing more about my body image issues when Daniel started talking about some people he thinks have great bodies. He even said that he finds nothing wrong in negatively comparing someone’s body to somebody’s else’s, right to their face. Daniel’s therapy managed to lowered my opinion of my own credibility, contribution to society and body. Not only did he say many damaging things, but addressing those things with him usually only made matters worse. I strongly recommend staying away from this therapist."
