ULTIQA Freshwater Point Resort 33 T E Peters Drive, Broadbeach, Queensland 4218

"Firstly the location is great, room was clean and they gave us 2 car parks so that was amazing. However when we arrived we were not informed that the TV was not working and there was no free Wifi as per their room description. We raised this with the front desk to which they sent maintenance to our room to have a look but no success. They said we could change rooms however we were about to head out the door for a dinner & show that night so thought to discuss it in the morning. The next morning we were advised no rooms available to move us to and we asked about a discount which was going to be raised with management and a decision was going to be made upon check out. We checked out at 10am to be told management were unavailable & they would call us the next day. No phone call occurred so I then followed up and was told it was getting raised in a meeting and was informed they would call me back... Once again no phone call was made. We are now 1 week post stay and still no response from management. So disappointed as this is a hotel I have stayed at multiple times and always thought highly of until this moment. Never again would I come back or recommend to anyone. The manor in which this has been handled is deplorable. There’s no such thing as customer service anymore."

"Quite enjoyable stay, downstairs cafe and their food, prices and staff great. Not really much of an exciting/lovely view from our apartment and parking area lights very bright at night, shone through bedroom window, toiletries ok but have had better. Location good and felt safe and secure. Also did think $10 charge for pool towels a bit heavy."

"Fantastic space that is well appointed and quiet yet an easy walk to Restaurants, Beach, Casino, and Pacific Fair Shopping. The facilities including gym, steam room, sauna, pool and spa are well kept and clean. The only disappointment was that we had to pay for pool towels, not a refundable deposit but actually pay. I think for the price of these rooms that a pool towel could be provided. And if there is difficulty with stealing, use a bond system."

"The room was lovely and spacious and sitting on the balcony watching the river float by was a favourite activity. We loved that the kitchen was really well equipped and we were able to make simple meals and didn't have to eat out all the time. It was great that it was close to all the amenities (about 5 minutes drive) but far enough away not to feel like you were in the thick of the busyness of the GC. Possibly our new favourite place!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the resort for 5nights. 1. We arrived late so followed the “ring the doorbell” instructions on the wall but no one answered it. We spotted a sign on the front glass door with a photo number to call and that worked. 2. The apartment blocks are well located. Very close to Pacific Fair, walking distance to Broadbeach restaurants & the beach. 3. Our 2-bedroom apartment is in the 8th floor facing the river and overlooking the skyscrapers which has such an amazing view at night. The swimming pool plus all the facilities, the grounds are beautiful. 4. Our apartment is spacious and quiet. May be a bit more utensils & kitchen tools would be great. Otherwise, it’s perfect. We will definitely look at staying there again."
