Located within walking distance of Munno Para Shopping Centre, Smithfield Interchange, and other small businesses, our center is conveniently situated for families in the area. We prioritize creating a safe and challenging environment for children, providing early-intervention strategies to support those who may be at risk or disadvantaged.

Our approach at Goodstart Smithfield is an all-of-community one, working within the Enhancing Children's Outcomes (EChO) framework. We have a dedicated team of professionals, including a Child and Family Practitioner, Speech Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist, who collaborate with our educators to provide training on assisting children with additional needs.

We actively involve families, educators, and the wider community in shaping our learning environment through continuous reviews and collaboration. Our inclusive early learning programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework, offering stimulating and sensory-based learning opportunities for children from Nursery through to Kindergarten.

To support families, our onsite qualified cook prepares fresh and nutritious meals daily, catering to all dietary requirements. We also provide essential items such as meals, nappies, wipes, cot linen, and sunscreen at no extra charge. Additionally, we partner with Foodbank to offer a service to our families, providing additional meals for parents to take home.

At Goodstart Smithfield, we have a passionate and highly trained teaching staff who are dedicated to preparing children for school through our school readiness and transition program. Our child-centered, teacher-guided learning framework ensures that each child receives individual attention and support for holistic development.

We also offer access to Storypark, an online learning portfolio that allows parents to stay connected with their child's progress and engagement in our programs.

As the Centre Director, my name is Paula Seidel. With over 30 years of experience working with children, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children. I value open communication with families and strive to work together to give your child the best start in life.

Parking is available onsite for convenient pick-up and drop-off, making it easier for families to access our center.
