"Very very good value for money. Check in was easy, having a park on site as well was a bonus. The place is a bit older but was incredible clean and tidy. Location was perfect. Right next to the beach and the main strip of surfers, walking distance for everything."

"I stayed at Chateau Beachside Resort for 9 nights and had a fantastic holiday. Yes the rooms are a little dated and some of the facilities such as the sauna wasn't working during my stay. But overall for the price and awesome location to the beach (right across the road), shops and all the Surfers Paradise amenities you really cant beat the location. I will definitely stay again when visiting the Gold Coast, the low price point definitely outweighs a few of the hotel's amenities not working. Also the Sandbar directly downstairs is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner with generous portions and great food. There is also a huge amount of gated parking available for the hotel if you have a car/rental car, both undercover and outside. Thankyou Chateau Beachside, looking forward to staying again in the future."

"I’m not one to ever leave a negative review but this place really was something else. I seen the 4 star rating and assumed this would be nice. I payed for a room with aircon it was definitely installed but didn’t work. Flat screen TV is a bit funny when it’s a 32” TV. I guess you’re not there to watch movies. Bed was incredibly firm something to keep in mind for sleepers used to a soft mattress. Hot water stopped working after 5 minuets so we had to stagger showers to ensure we’d both not run out. Worst of all we had multiple instances with cockroaches in the room. I noticed while checking out a cockroach dying near the doorway. While I understand bugs etc being a normal thing I’ve never experienced so many in a hotel before. Positive feedback view is pretty nice and listening to the ocean was an added bonus. I understand it’s a budget hotel but you can book similar hotels in the same area for $10-$20 more a night that will be a better experience. I will say the service was very good at check in though."

"Definitely value for money. Right on the Esplanade, I had an awesome view of the beach and Surfers Paradise, and so close to many awesome attractions. This hotel may be a little older, but it was clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable and my room had a brand new TV. An enjoyable stay on all counts. I would definitely recommend."
