"Very basic but clean. Nice pool, parking on premises. Entry gates shut with a loud clang that could easily be fixed, luckily most guests were considerate. Day manager was helpful and pleasant."
"Very clean room. Reception is awkward to get too. Location is great to get from a to b. If you can sleep through noise its a winner. We could hear the tram, people walking up the stairs, toilets flushing. One night great! Two nights not my cup of tea."
"O verpriced for what you get. Old and very basic.Most unsatisfactory. No room service, towels not changed and small bin overflowed during a 4 day stay. Door lock faulty, which I reported as needed to use key to lock on exit. Rang from airport to see where to post key, and from Sydney twice following day. Seems they replaced the lock and used my $100 security deposit to do so. Not enough staff and Manager also unhelpful. Have had to dispute charge with bank as seems they put the $100 through on arrival. So beware of leaving a security deposit with them. All in all, not a happy experience."
"We had a 1 night stay, and I was sceptical at the start. This is an older Motel, and yes, it's a bit rough around the edges. The room was very clean, and we we're pleasantly surprised. The bed was comfortable, but I'd probably take our pillows next time, just a personal preference. Tony was very polite and helpful with our requests regarding the secure car park. Tram stop right outside the front door, but within walking/strolling distances to the Star Casino and Cavill Ave. For the cost of the stay and conditions, I can see us staying here again."
