"Expensive When second chances first opened it had a lovely vibe to it. Prices were low and struggling families or pensioners could not only find affordable clothing etc but they also found a family. The shop used to be full of people all the time, we would chat away with staff or other customers and everyone enjoyed rummaging around on the big tables. It was always exciting to find the very thing you were looking for. They also used to have a freebies table which contained things that they couldn't sell. I found many useful knick-knacks that way. Now the shop is a sterile overpriced shop. And although staff are friendly it doesn't compare to what it used to be"
"I used to be a regular customer as its location was very convenient for me. I still have a heaps of stuff from that op-shop. Their prices were good and they have wide selection of goods."
"Buy many good second hand kitchen items here and also fabrics as well we get foot patch work new quilts also"
"Used to be one of my favourite op shops, almost always found something to buy at a great price.... Lately it's going the way of all Salvos and overpricing everything, they had a "clearance" section of shoes, all of which had more than a few wear marks or issues with them, all around not worth $6, especially when these used to be $2 a pair. I don't mind wear marks if the price is reasonable, but $6 makes no sense for old, worn in shoes... Found a factories top at $5... barely less than it'd cost in store. A pair of kmart jeans for $12... again not that much less than you could get brand new ones in store for. This pricing will continue to drive away customers and earn the store less revenue overall. So dissapointing"
"Found this lovely store a few days ago and it helped moving people a lot. I've just been SA few weeks and looking for many kinds of stuff for my house. It's lucky many things we need are on half price! And the friendly staff also helped to test the electrical items! I feel so happy for reusing these goods which can reduce the waste for our mother Earth! Highly recommend!"
