"I went to this store on the recommendation of a friend who had shopped there recently for the same product I wanted, specifically because she received a discount for an Apple product. Her product was on backorder and she was told it wouldn't take long, so I thought it should be fine if I get one as well. However, the person who placed my order actually requested a product that isn't even available to buy anymore. The only reason this was discovered is because I called to follow up on the order progress. Then I was told that they had no idea when the iPad I wanted would actually arrive but could get the larger storage model from the Noarlunga branch within a few days, which was fine. A while later, I called to see if it had arrived and had to get bounced through about 6 different staff before someone told me they had no idea and they'd call tomorrow. The next day, 4 days after they said they would send it, I was told it hadn't left the store after all, but that they would send it off now and I could expect a call and that it would arrive the next day.Two days after that, I called to see if it had arrived, and it turns out it had but nobody had notified me. This was a very frustrating experience because a lot of things had gone wrong and were only found out because I had to keep following it up with them. If I had left it, I would have still been waiting for a product they don't even sell anymore. Most of the staff were pretty dismissive, which was difficult since I was trying to explain there had already been a series of errors which warranted my concern, but there were a handful of very patient and understanding staff who tried to help me, and I appreciated that they took the time to work out what was happening. When I was finally able to collect my iPad, it was in the box pictured below, with the security strips partially lifted off. I was disappointed. My friend had also had troubles with her order and cancelled it and then bought one from JB HI FI which came from interstate within 2 days in great condition. In my case, the iPad itself was fine, but after all the chaos it took to finally get to pick it up, I was annoyed that it looked like it had just been chucked in the footwell of a truck for a week. Wouldn't recommend ordering or buying a product on backorder, since about 7 different things went wrong and most of the staff were indifferent."
