"Mrs. Fauxe punished me for taking my friends laptop and hiding it from him. They did a 4 day investigation to see if i broke his laptop. William Edwards broke it earlier that day punching it and raging. After they checked the security footage and foundout that i did not break his laptop. They gave me 2 RTC's. But didn't give Will an RTC for the 4 day rtc"
"The school used to have a real family feel about it, a true sense of community. Interestingly there is a new principal who has allegedly been bullying staff and students alike. My son (a high achiever) tells me the 12s are constantly threatened by Ms Milard with cancellations of their formal etc if any students in the grade underperform. These are children after all and not all of them want to be at school. It seems petty to threaten kids with such actions based on the behaviour of a few. Also, recently my daughter who has been receiving tutoring to ensure she meets the english prerequisite (B) was told there no longer is one for senior english. I'm no teacher but if you can't pass Year 10 English how could you possibly pass Year 11/12? I am saddened to hear about the loss of some really lovely teachers due to the new administration. Previously I would have recommended the school however we are now looking into alternatives for our daughter now."
"What a year! 2022 has brought so many challenges & MMC has faced these head-on, like so many schools all over the country. Through staff sickness & leave uncertainty, leadership & building changes, student sickness & motivation issues, the world has thrown everything at our new Principal. Running a high quality, young person, education establishment was never going to be easy but Martina has demonstrated resilience & first-class directorship in our ever changing landscape. Both my boys have been supported on their chosen pathways, one to university and the other on a vocational pathway, currently completing three TAFE certificates while being able to remain at school, in a safe, nurturing environment, with his peers.
