Aldinga Community Centre

Welcome to Aldinga Community Centre, located at Aldinga Beach on Stewart Avenue. Our establishment is a point of interest for both locals and visitors alike. We are proud to offer a wide range of programs and activities for the community to enjoy.

This summer, community groups have the opportunity to generate income by collecting beach ramp fees. Additionally, Onkaparinga's athletes have been making their mark in various sports, from BMX and para athletics world championships to the AFL and FIFA Women's World Cup.

We are excited to announce that Surf Life Saving's newest Nippers program will be taking place this summer, giving local First Nations children the chance to learn and enjoy water activities.

The council's commitment to reducing emissions in its buildings has been recognized, as our program is up for a national award to be announced on 7th September. We are proud to be leading the way in sustainable practices.

Our latest Leadership Onkaparinga program participants have recently learned about how the science of compassion benefits communities. We believe in fostering a sense of empathy and understanding within our community.

In exciting news, we are undergoing a $1.5 million expansion to provide even more opportunities for the community. This expansion will bring new facilities and activities for all to enjoy.

We are also conducting a survey to better understand the rising costs and access to quality food in our area. This will help southern councils address food insecurity and ensure the well-being of our residents.

Art enthusiasts can get their fix during the South Australian Living Artists Festival in Onkaparinga from 1st to 31st August. This festival showcases the vibrant artistic talent in our region.

The FIFA Women's World Cup has inspired a new generation of soccer players and fans, including our local Matildas. We are proud to support their journey.
