"Sold me defective shoes that were fine to walk in at store however once used for running the sole of the shoe was cutting into my arch on one of the shoes. Inspection of the internal of the shoe shows the sole edge facing upwards on the shoe in question. Clearly a warranty issue however manager claimed they can't do anything as shoe had been worn and handed me an email to contact. The defect only became apparent when using the shoes for their intended purpose. The manager was not interested in offering any other solutions and was quite arrogant and unhelpful. Very poor customer service and disappointing considering I had purchased multiple shoes at this store in the past and they claim to be a runners store. Regardless of whether they are an outlet or not, consumer law dictates defects must be warranted. I will escalate further."

"One of the best bargain shoes store. Small store but most of the time thay have a bargain shoes. my wife call the store 'danger zone' since more than once we do not have any plan to buy footwear but it will end up with something from the store."

"The guy who runs the shop should be run out to the unemployment line he has no customer service and doesn't follow the Accc code for returns he said he can only exchange if within 30days once that was proven to be the case he stood his ground out of pure arrogance. He tried to tell me my daughters shoes worn for 18 days were 'worn' he recommended the shoes to me that had a retail price of over $200. In anyone's book they should last more than 18days. He is rude stubborn and doesn't understand consumer rights. I have esculated to the state Manager of Athletes foot who own the store and I am awaiting a call back in regards to the mistreatment by the staff member and a replacement pair of shoes. Don't go there if you expect customer service.. I've also contacted the email in the response with no reply and there is a case number in their system"

"Went to Run out in DFO which is Athletes Foot clearance store. My wife needed a good pair of gym shoes as she’s been working hard at the gym and has suffered some pin in her feet. After looking online at the best for her needs we chose some ASICS at $240 a pair reduced from $299. We were then attended to by Paul who is a pediatrist during the week and works at runout on weekends My wife asked if there was a cheaper show which would meet her needs. Paul showed us a pair of Mizuno for $60 reduced from $229 Paul’s knowledge helped us both to choose the right shoe and also saved us $180 Thank you Paul as your knowledge was refreshing and product knowledge saved us lots. Really appreciate the expertise and savings"
