"The assistant double charged my elderly mother $129 on her mastercard. A few days later the manager made us feel like we were not being honest by asking for our money to be returned. We offered to screenshot account and scan receipt and sort it out by email and phone. They refused to repay money unless we turned up in person to prove it. Reason given why they couldn't look through their own eftpos records was that "they get audited". In store she indicated knowing of the double charge and insisted on the actual card which I didn't have. Finally everything that she did on the computer to process the refund could have been done over the phone or email. Not happy to waste several hours driving around to get our money back which wasn't our fault in the first place! Not once did the manager (Belmont Forum Perth) apologise or show any empathy whatsoever."
