Since 1999, Karen has been a registered psychologist and is a proud member of the Australian Psychological Society. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists, showcasing her expertise in the field.

Her diverse background includes working as a classroom teacher and at the Specific Learning Difficulties Association (SPELD SA).
