Welcome to Goodstart Perth Kaadidjiny Maya, our new child care centre located in the heart of Perth's CBD. We are deeply committed to building a stronger connection with First Nations people and promoting reconciliation. In fact, we have named our centre using the local Noongar language, with Kaadidjiny meaning 'Learning' and Maya meaning 'Place'.

Our purpose-built centre on St Georges Terrace features three age-based learning spaces, each leading out to a beautiful outdoor area with natural sunlight, lush gardens, and a sandpit for endless hours of fun. Our early learning programs cater to children from six weeks old to Kindergarten-aged, following the Early Years Learning Framework and tailored to each child's individual needs and interests.

We also have a stunning art studio for our budding artists, providing a space for creative exploration and fostering curiosity. To make life easier for our families, we have a state-of-the-art chef's kitchen that provides a nutritious menu incorporating all dietary requirements, as well as a parent lounge where families can catch up with each other.

Our team at Goodstart Perth Kaadidjiny Maya is highly qualified, experienced, and passionate about early learning. We work in partnership with families to establish care routines and educational goals for each child. Our goal is to create an environment that feels like a 'home away from home' for children, families, and our team.

Conveniently located in the CBD, our centre allows families to work near their children and visit them during the day, providing extra quality time and the opportunity for breastfeeding if needed.

As the Centre Director, I am Lela Mrdak, and I have over 10 years of experience in the early childhood sector. I am dedicated to putting the needs of children and families at the heart of everything I do. With my qualifications and experience, I am committed to delivering quality education and care to every child.

Please note that there is no centre parking available within the building, but Wilson Parking is available on the left-hand side of Milligan Street. You can find us on the mezzanine floor of the Dexus building at 240 St. Georges Terrace, at the corner of Milligan Street and St. Georges Terrace.
