"There are a lot of hidden gems in Stirling Gardens.. even though it doesn't look very large.. see if you can find the following- -Ore obelisk (with some of the minerals mined in WA) - Snugglepot and Cuddlepie - the 4 legal quills - the Kangaroos drinking at the billabong - the statue of Lord Forrest ( No, not Twiggy..but maybe a predecessor) - the old Supreme court museum building ( which is also the oldest building in the CBD) and - the WA Court of Appeal (which sits on way and reclaimed from the river)!!"
"very serene. it's wonderful to have this tiny haven in the midst of the CBD. perfect for afternoon walks, picnic meet-ups. if working at St George's Terrace- have your break and bring your lunchbox!"
"Located at the back of the Supreme Court, the Sterling Gardens is a fairly small garden. Plenty of grass and trees to just sit around and relax. What struck me the most was the quill sculpture by the Barrack Street edge."
