"If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Dealing with this company has by far been the worst retail experience of my life. Ordered a cot, mattress and conversion kit in store in August 2021 and assured it was currently in stock as I was due to have my child in December after spending a couple thousand dollars on the items, we were sent the conversion kit shortly after and unfortunately experienced appalling delays month after month for our cot and mattress, continuously being sent emails advising they were still waiting on stock and providing misleading dates of when stock was expected to be fulfilled (generally advising the following month in each email). January 2022 arrives and my child was now over a month old. Still being sent emails advising of delays, this time the expected fulfilment is now not expected for another 3 months! Frustrated, I had then decided to contact PB Kids Customer Service through their Aus website and arrange a refund on all items. I spoke with a customer service agent who submitted a request to be refunded for the cot and mattress (which was yet to be delivered) and arrange for the conversion kit to be collected by a courier and re-delivered to their main warehouse and a refund to be processed. I was refunded for the cot and mattress and the order cancelled for that part. March 2022 arrives and I am still waiting for the conversion kit to be collected. Again, I contact Customer Service as per above and this time informed that nobody had actually submitted a request for the return in January. Assured again that this would now be submitted and they would arrange collection asap. Fast forward to now, JUNE 2022, the items have still not been collected. I have spoken with Customer Service AGAIN and given the same old excuses. Looking at reviews and comments on their instagram from other customers, it is clear that I am one among MANY others who are experiencing the same issues. Save yourself the time, the money, the stress and go elsewhere. This truly has been the most awful experience and was absolutely not expected given Pottery Barn is seen as a "High End" and their prices are not necessarily cheap. I have come to accept that I will not be returned the rest of my money. I am also certain that I will never step foot or spend a single cent in this store again."
"Made an effort to choose items that where in stock for my daughters room. Anticipated the order 3 or 4 weeks later at the latest. Fast forward over 5 months and we have recieved nothing. Everytime I call i get the run around and some different story, no follow up emails as promised. All I want is my order or my money back its been to long now. So disappointed with the customer service we have recieved."
"Think twice about ordering things on line. We purchased a recliner for our daughter on the 4th of January, were told we would receive it in 8 to 10 weeks, we received a delivery time date early April, however were then told it was postponed to early May. We rang to see what was going on and it has taken two days to get anywhere. We cancelled the order yesterday, and would receive a refund which could take two weeks, they told us we could do this because it had not yet left the warehouse only to be told today that we could not cancel the order because the order left the warehouse yesterday. So now we can reject the delivery once it hits the WA warehouse which may take two weeks, it then has to be sent back to the Sydney warehouse, which may take two weeks, and then we will receive a full refund. They will not promise that i will have my refund in 6 weeks so all in all they will probably have my money for 6 MONTHS!!! Extremely disappointed with the service"
"Took over 90 days for Online items to be received. Poor customer service via America, no Australian based customer service. Was told by one ‘customer service’ lady that the warehouse was prioritising new orders, not the backlog orders, and the only way of communicating with the warehouse in AUS was via email which took 2 weeks for them to read and reply. Also told every time I called that my items were in stock yet they still took 90 days to post! Shocking service from start to finish, would not order online again. A stark difference between in store buying and online, as the ladies in WA stores are so helpful and nice."
