"Very disappointed with this post office's ability to redirect mail. The folks are living away from home whilst mum is undergoing cancer treatment. Whilst the hospital shouldn't have sent anything to my parents' primary residence, we set up mail redirection as a contingency. Lo and behold, the hospital did send something to the wrong address and the mail redirection didn't work either. Mum and Dad also didn't get their council rates redirected and incurred additional costs for having to pay their rates after the due date. No compensation on the extra cost incurred has been given by Australia Post. As far as we're concerned, mail redirection is a waste of money as Australia Post can't deliver when it counts."
